Month of Photography Workshop

Last weekend, my professor was teaching a workshop on pinhole photography.
So I was there to assist him.
We made pinhole cameras out of 4x5 film boxes and attached polaroid backs to it.
I had a really great time and the kids seemed like they had fun too~ ^^
I hope the kids were inspired and continue to take photographs~
Well, here are some of the shots with the pinhole.

Fun Ghetto Weekend

Yesterday, I was part of a photography workshop for high school students at culver city.
It was an interesting and fun experience for me~ (I will explain in more detail and post images from the workshop on another day)
But the ghetto fun-ness started after... kekeke

I met up with couple of friends for lunch/dinner at Soup Plantation.
We had to go there cuz someone had a coupon... so the 4 of us ate for $5 each!!!!!!
ohhhhhhhhhh yeah baby~~~~~~~ ^^
Then, we headed over to my friend's place to watch the Laker game.
This was the first time I ever saw a whole complete game of basketball~ craziness!
While watching t.v., we had the munchies so decided to eat some nachos.
But, there was no cheese so we melted some American cheese, added some milk, opened up a box of Kraft Macaroni, and used the cheese from there~ hehehe
We got the cheese all ready, but we had no chips.
Well, there were some tortilla chips... which were stale.
So we busted out some Original Flavored Sun Chips... this was really good~ :)
And then, my friend decided to cut up some apples after...
But the funny thing was that it looked like she cut it with her teeth~! hahahahaha
After that, she decided to make caramel apples, which I didn't understand cuz she didn't have any caramel~ -.-;;;;
But of course, she said she could make caramel~ kkkkkk
So, she heated up a pot and got some sugar, milk, and See's candy and melted it all together~
(Was there any other ingredients?)
Hahahahahaha
I thought it was pretty good, but a little too sweet~
And I also didn't understand why the apple was heated up too~ ^^;;;;

Anyways, it was too much fun~
I guess all this happened because we were lazy~ hehehehe
Until next time... we have to do this again!!!!

We just had a fun day of eating and shooting~
For lunch we went to Golden State for some unique burgers...
And then, off to do some shooting!!! ^^
We stopped by on Melrose to shoot some polaroids with the 4x5.
Then, went back to her pad to mess with some strobes baby~! kkk
I still need to work on my strobe lighting skills~ :(

Scrabble

Couple of us went to a coffee shop for some drinks and some board games~
First we played Jenga and then the Scrabble.
I'm not the best with my English, but...

I owned today~!!!!!

Muhahahaha

Well, like I said before, my reign ain't gonna last too long~ :)

I'm back~!!!!!

Hello everyone~
I'm in L.A. right now... just got back San Fran...
It was a long, but fun 3 days~ ^^
Now, back to working on some photos~ hehe

Polaroid Test Shots

I got a Fuji Polaroid back for 4x5 and a free pack of color polaroids.
So, me and my buddy went out and did some test shots...
One shot was from a field camera and the rest were pinhole shots.
Total illness~!!!!
Guess I have to throw down some $ for some film baby~~~~~~ ^^

Joshua Tree again

This was my third time at Joshua Tree.
Everytime I went, it was a different experience with different people.
We packed some good lunch and the weather was great!!!
AND... we got some beautiful photographs~
This trip was sOOOO worth it! ^^
I even thought of a new project I could do with the Joshua Trees...
I have to go back again~ hehehe

Flowers @ Carlsbad

This wasn't a good day to go to a flower garden.
It was an extremely cloudy day~
And, since it was the beginning of spring, only 20% of the garden was in bloom.
So, these are the best images that I got.

Laguna Beach

Went to do some night shooting with the 4x5 camera.
We didn't expect one shot to take 1hr 40mins~ ^^
So, we only got a chance to do one shot...
Not even sure if we did it right~ kkk
We can always go back and do it again!
But, it was a really fun experience~
